AKA specific plant bits Kurama has acquired in the course of restocking his arsenal. This list is far from exhaustive, and mostly serves as a reference for possible callbacks to earlier threads.

I'll think of a clever cut text for his other stuff later. )

Kurama on the phone outside, smiling pleasantly but eyes concealed

xochipilli’s garden
A smallish step pyramid made of gray stone, or at least that's what it seems to be beneath all the greenery.

On one side, at the foot of the pyramid’s outer stairs, there is a sign with “No Smoking” and the usual symbol at the top, and the text “violators will be made into fertilizer” crossed off at the bottom, with “please be careful of man-eating plants” written in permanent marker underneath; the smoke of burning tobacco causes certain plants on the lower steps of the pyramid to take monstrous, homicidal forms.

Carvings of flowers and leaves and mushrooms all along the pyramid’s sides are nearly concealed by the real things, the only clear spots being the stairs leading up the front and the blocky little stone shrine at the top, and digging through the underbrush reveals that the plants--even a few small trees--are growing directly from the stone.

The plants at the top of the pyramid are neatly manicured, primarily short grasses with scattered flower beds and ornamentals, and off to one side is a bird bath with a bowl shaped like the state of Texas and a stand (surrounded by flowers tall enough to conceal it) shaped like a pair of cowboy boots.

Plants down most of the back of the pyramid look normal enough, but if anyone tries to go walking around there without Kurama’s permission, they quickly mutate along the same lines as the anti-smoking plants at the foot of the pyramid.

A trap door hidden in the floor of the shrine reveals a staircase down into the interior, which is homey, modern, and strangely well-lit, with common areas upstairs and bedrooms downstairs.

The third floor/basement, located entirely underground, is divided into two sections, a fungal garden and an elaborate dance studio. In the dance studio, the ceiling, pillars down the center of the room, and mirrorless walls at either end are covered in flowering plants. When the lights are turned off, these plants are revealed to be bioluminescent, turning the dance hall into a sort of magic forest disco. Sadly, there is currently neither a bar nor a stage to make the most of this.

Regardless of season, the interior of the pyramid is always pleasantly cool and the exterior pleasantly warm.
